Yuvan - R Kelly - G V Prakash
- Oh My God, It’s been a long time since my last post.I am extremely sorry.
- You guys may notice the similarities between “Adadaa Vaa” by Yuvan Shankar Raja and “Un Mela Aasa” by G V Prakash Kumar.They are almost same tunes.
- I happened to hear a song which has a striking resemblance with Adadaa vaa(or Un Mela Aasa).At least to me..What do you think guys?
- The song is “Thoia Thoing” by R.Kelly released in 2003.
- Listen to the songs “Adadaa Vaa” by Yuvan and “Un Mela Aasa thaan” by G V Prakash Kumar here..

this song is also sounds similar to the ‘gela gela’ song of a hindi movie , ‘aitraaz’

No dear. I agree with other inspirations. Adada doesn’t sound similar at all. My opinion anyway.
Un mela aasathan was copied from Adada.

from 2:03 to 2:12 listen to the backing male voice..A tinge of adada vaa tune is visible IMO..

I read somewhere that Adada was actually composed for Ayirathil Oruvan by YSR (the original composer for the movie). Selvaraghavan was reportedly canned out visuals based on this song. But the differences between YSR and SR resulted in YSR backing out of the project and GVP was replaced. SR requested GVP to compose a tune similar to Adada so that his shots doesnt go waste. Thats how Un Mela song was produced. Eventually, YSR used his Adada tune for Sarvam.. Does make sense to me!
