It has been truly newly remastered by the master. I like the way Bhavathaarini has sung it.

@Gandhar Wazalwar
Hi my friend,
You may find it close to “Aakhon Me Tu Hai” from Roja because both are set in same Raaga “Kaapi”(as told by my friend who knows things about Carnatic Raagas and All)…
this tune came out in 1986 for the movie “Olangal” in the name of “Thumbi Vaa” composed by Our Maestro Ilaiyaraaja only. Roja was released in 1992 i believe..
You should have a look at this video

Also you should hear the Instrumental version of The original song in my previous post…

thanks for reply.. I agree on the fact that these songs are based on same raaga.. but its a clear simillarity I couldn’t help notice…composing in same raaga is different and using same progression or note combination is another… U c I could have said its similar to “kuchi kuchi” too but I know its just being in same raaga (or mishra raaga)… Same thing I noticed was “raat bhi na hile aage aage re” from “chupke se” from Saathiya and “suno jaane bhi do na” (towards the end of verse) in “Jaane do na” from Cheeni kum…. just observations.. what do u think? (I’m not hinting towards copying by anyone anyway..)
Also, I knew this original song by IR and hence my concern went towards ARR’s composition… thanks for reply though

@My Friend
Ah, I misunderstood your post last time and replied. I am sorry for that..
Regarding your observations “chupke se” from Saathiya and “Jaane do na” from Cheeni kum..Well I can say “Its all in the Music”
By the way ,
Have you heard the original song of “Jaane do Na”?
here is the song “Joteyali Jote Joteyali” from Geetha released in 80’s..
